What is WISH Tree?

 

WISH-TV & The Salvation Army have partnered since 1997 to collect toys to be distributed to under privileged families in Central Indiana. This year, the need is even greater. The Salvation Army has received many for requests for assistance then in previous years.

 

When does WISH Tree take place?

 

WISH Tree kicks off Thursday, November 19 and continues through Friday, December 11, 2009.

 

How can I make a donation to WISH Tree?

 

There are several ways you can donate to this year's WISH Tree effort.

 

Donations of new, unwrapped toys for kids ages infant to 14-years-old can be made at our sponsor locations:

WISH Tree Colts Toy Collection - December 13

 

The WISH-TV and MyINDY-TV family will be collecting toys outside Lucas Stadium before the Colts game vs Denver on Sunday, December 13th.  Stop by any of the collection points on your way to the game to drop off your  new unwrapped toys.  Monetary donations will also be accepted. The first 5,000 people who make a donation will receive a special Colts poster featuring players Dallas Clark and Marlin Jackson generously provided by Sport Graphics.

 

Monument Circle - Friday, November 20

 

Stop by Monument Circle on Friday November 20th when WISH-TV reporters and anchors, along with other local celebrities, will be taking toy and monetary donations until 6 p.m.
